An exhibition of metal sculptures

by Walenty Pytel

sponsored by Horton Interiors and Jackson equestrian

British sculptor Walenty Pytel hosted an exhibition, over the run up to Christmas 2011, some of his latest sculptures were on view at The Sugar House, Manley.  Unique amongst contemporary artists, he is renowned internationally as Europe's leading metal sculptor of birds and beasts and is one of the world's finest craftsmen.  His inspired creations are drawn from nature and transform metal into works of art.

Much of his work is destined for private collectors and the corporate world as interior design features or gifts of unusual distinction with commissions also from Royalty, Governments, public bodies and architects, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Lloyds of London and Bacardi, Spain.

Amongst his best known public works is the majestic landmark, 26ft high Jubilee fountain sculpture standing under Big Ben at the Houses of Parliament, commissioned by Parliament for the Queen's Jubilee year.  He also created the extraordinary Fosser for the JCB Company standing 45ft high weighing 30 tonnes, and 28ft high sculpture of the three egrets at Birmingham International Airport to commemorate forty years of peace in Europe.

Walenty's recent works are, in his words, the best of his career.
